» Full Building Survey

This is the most thorough of the various forms of building survey reports. It is applicable to almost all property large or small, commercial or residential and provides our client with a detailed breakdown of condition. It involves a close examination of all of the internal and external components of a building including services such as hot and cold water installations and drainage. It will identify active woodworm attack and dry rot and other infestations. Like any survey, it is not feasible nor normally practical to open up structures to examine behind finishes, for example wall linings or beneath fitted carpets. Nonetheless, with an experienced eye in building pathology, it is surprising how much is detected by symptoms of building defects.

Our reports are somewhat different from the norm. We include a detailed and a prioritised cost schedule which will help the purchase consider the purchase price in relation to repair costs. The reports are couched in simple laymen’s terms, we avoid the use of unhelpful jargon, and we strive to inspect, prepare and post a report within 5 working days, and sometimes less.
