The identification of defects in buildings of all sorts. This work might relate to flat roof leaks or problems in commercial buildings, the results of those defects and an analysis of how the defects should be put right. This is occasionally straightforward, but often, especially with listed buildings, involves special techniques, and a good deal of lateral thinking.

Specialist attention is required for buildings of listed or special status to help comply with listed building legislation and in similar fashion to our other activities, applies to commercial and residential buildings alike. Our surveyors carry all necessary testing equipment to identify types of building defects such as rising dampness, the presence of salts, woodboring insect, fungal attack and other building defects.
